Itinerary
It's been said that a game drive's like watching the movie, but a walking safari is like reading the book - we couldn't put it better ourselves.
Day 1
Fly to Zambia
Overnight flight to Lusaka via Johannesburg
Day 2
Nkwali
Fly on from Lusaka to Mfuwe, where your safari experience begins on the drive to your accommodation for the night on the banks of the Luangwa River.
Nkwali, 1 night all inclusive.
Days 3 - 4
Nsefu
Depart on your game drive into the park where you'll begin to immerse yourself in the bush. Experiences at Nsefu include game drives and walks.
Nsefu, 2 nights all inclusive.
Days 5 - 6
Luangwa Bush Camping
Spend the next two nights 'bush camping': walking between Nsefu and Tena Tena you'll spend the nights in stand-up tents with a mattress on the ground, sharing stories around the campfire. The walks aren't extreme, just a few hours between camps, giving you the chance to see the smallest details, something you might miss from a 4x4
Luangwa Bush Camping, 2 nights all inclusive.
Days 7 - 8
Tena Tena
Arrive at your final camp at the very end of the Great Rift Valley, one of the last remaining unspoilt areas of wilderness on the continent.
Tena Tena, 2 nights all inclusive.
Day 9
Fly home
Overnight flight via Lusaka and Johannesburg back to the UK.
Day 10
Arrive home
