Victoria Falls is known as Mosi-Oa-Tunya in the Sotho language. It translates as 'smoke that thunders' and we can't think of a better way to sum up this force of nature and African icon.
It can be easily added to a safari in Botswana, the Kruger or further into Zambia itself.

Humidity can get pretty high during the peak summer months from December to February, but any other time of year is a great time to travel. While Victoria Falls is a seasonal waterfall and is at peak flow between April and June, it is spectacular any time of year.
