It’s where award-winning filmmakers, Dereck and Beverly Joubert, would come when they wanted a rest from filming. So it was only natural they chose this spot as the location for their first camp.
Their love of film and photography runs through everything – each room comes with semi-professional photography equipment you can borrow. And their commitment to conservation and eco-friendly principles even stretches to the décor: the furniture in the four tented villas is made from wood reclaimed after the Boxing Day Tsunami and the decks are formed from old railway sleepers.
