A Moroccan lantern, here, South African kudu horns, there. Xanadu is owned by a house developer and an art collector. And you can see their stylish influences everywhere. So much so, it feels like a private home (albeit one where the hosts are particularly attentive).
It’s located on a stretch of white sandy beach with snorkelling, sunset cruises and paddle boarding on the doorstep. The sense of seclusion is something very special: you reach the property via a palm tree-lined track from the main road, entering through wooden gates build from old dhow boats.
Beautiful.
