We love the individual, quirky rooms and chalets here. They’ve got names like Nut House and Dog House, which sums up the fun and friendly atmosphere to a T.
Stay here if you’re looking for something authentic – Tongabezi is perched right on the banks of the Zambezi, away from the crowds and tourist hotspots. And if you’re looking to up the sense of adventure, stay in one of the open-sided cottages on Sindabezi Island: a rustic paradise where you can feel the sand beneath your toes.
Tongabezi is completely immaculate. We saw a two bedroom Garden Cottage with an open bedroom for adults and a closed bedroom for children. It had a lounge area and was fenced, with its own plunge pool - perfect for families.
