At Sirikoi, you really get the feeling it’s a light footprint camp – ask to see their Shamba vegetable garden and you’ll see what we mean.
It’s a family-run lodge in the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, on the northern slopes of Mount Kenya. And it’s the kind of place where you can really feel at one with nature. The grounds might be well manicured, but the animals come pretty close to the low fence. We took tea in the lounge and watched the wildlife while we sipped.
Ask for some Turmeric Tea. It's delicious and a great way to relax and accompany you watching the watering hole. Turmeric tea has never tasted as good as Sirikoi's tea!
