This was the original Singita lodge and from the beginning it set the standard.
It reflects the history of Singita and the Bailes family without feeling stuck in the past. Recently refurbished and looking spectacular, the suites are a careful combination of glass, thatch and canvas: imagine a tented camp with a dash of safari lodge and you’re getting close.
The game viewing is excellent, too. The camp is in the heart of big cat country and is particularly well known for its leopard.
