When you realise that ‘serian’ is the Maa word for ‘serene, calm or tranquil’, you get an instant understanding of what these camps are all about. Here, the accommodation takes second place to the overall experience. Yes, a comfortable bed and good food are assured, but it’s the extra touches that make the difference. Take the location for example – Serian Camp and Ngare Serian are in the exclusive Mara North Conservancy, populated by only a small number of camps so you can enjoy the wildlife without a stream of minibuses in tow. A private vehicle, guide and spotter are included so the focus is on what’s important for you.
