The beautiful canvas structures at Serengeti Bushtops have more in common with five-star bedrooms than they do with a typical tent. They’re raised on large, wooden decks and come with oodles of space – you can roll up the canvas walls to create an airy, open-plan layout by day and roll them back down to create a cosy bedroom after dark.
Up at the main lounge there’s a dining room with a strong reputation and substantial wine selection.
You’ll also find a swimming pool and a gorgeous sense of contemporary African style.
The location is northern Serengeti, near the River Mara – we recommend it as a good position to witness the river crossings as the migrating wildebeest head north to Kenya or make their way back south.
