You experience so many of the things that make Africa unique when you stay at Selinda Explorers. There are four custom-designed tents that look as though they’ve been lifted straight from the era of Livingstone and Selous. Bucket showers for the brave. Brass hipbaths for the old romantics. And guided walks, open vehicle game drives and canoe trips for the adventurous.
It’s not exactly what we’d call roughing it, though: the service is excellent and there’s definitely an understated elegance. But you certainly do feel connected to nature when you stay here.
