Set around a pretty lagoon with lots of hippo, lovely bird life, and even Red Lechwe coming to drink, Sable Alley has a peaceful relaxed feel to it. This new camp, in the Northern Khwai area, opened it's doors in May 2017, but the team behind the scenes have been involved with safari experiences for decades, they really know their stuff. This is clearly evident in the little touches that make the camp work beautifully. Sofas on the tent decks overlooking the watering hole with a perfectly positioned bench for your feet that doesn't block the view of the water hole. Lots of lounging areas interspersed throughout the camp so that you can find your own space.
The safari expertise goes beyond camp design to deliver a first class wildlife experience too. The lagoons attract hippos, elephants, buffalo and a variety of birds; the surrounding habitat is rich with predators.
