Think industrial chic – concrete and copper pipes – and you’re close to imagining Pangolin Chobe Hotel. It isn’t your typical pastel-hued haven: it has more of a masculine feel, with a neutral colour palette and an urban sense of style.
The hotel is located on a hill overlooking the town of Kasane and the Chobe river. It’s owned by photographic safari specialists and is designed very much with photographers (beginner and pro) in mind – you can rent DSLR camera equipment at the hotel if you want to upgrade your gear or don’t fancy lugging your own.
We’re big fans of the sunken lounge and fire pit – a great spot for watching blood-orange sunsets.
