We’ve waited a while for this one, and we’re pleased to report it was worth the wait! This resort is quite simply spectacular. Let’s start with the setting and the feeling of being totally immersed in nature. Surrounded by a tea plantation, misty hills and mysterious forests, it’s picture postcard perfect. Then there’s the welcome – butlers on hand with a glass of ice-cold tea and oriental slippers to replace your muddy boots. The rooms and suites are located in log clusters, each with a balcony or deck overlooking the forest. Not surprisingly given the location, there’s a daily tea ceremony in the lounge and the chef has perfected a divine tea pesto. There are walking and biking trails around the estate and an infinity pool and spa for relaxation.
This is one property that really lives up to the hype. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer.
