This is a new hotel from the luxury hotel brand, Zannier Hotels. The brand is owned by a French fashion family and that’s reflected in the style – it’s very upmarket and quite different from what we’re used to seeing in Namibia.
You’ll find it in a private reserve east of Windhoek, about 20 minutes from the international airport.
It makes a relaxing, be-at-one-with-nature place to spend a couple of nights at the end of your Namibian journey.
The rooms (which are called huts) are all inspired by traditional Owambo architecture and feature rounded corners, thatched roofs and a simple, understated elegance. There’s also two activities included each day so you won’t be short on things to do: game viewing, sunset cocktails or simply enjoying the views across the savannah over dinner.
