Tucked among the rocks, in the northern part of the Serengeti, Nomad Lamai couldn’t be in a more dazzling location. And when the migration crossed into the Masai Mara, you couldn’t be in a better position to see it. The views from the public areas are incredible.
But this is a place where wealth is measured in terms of experience, space and simplicity, rather than fancy extras. You can see it everywhere you look: a chair made out of an oil drum, here, a pair of wellies for crossing the muddy path, there. This is barefoot glamour at its best.
