Morukuru Beach Lodge is a solar-powered, fully off-grid lodge that works well for all ages.
There are four huge ocean-view suites and one honeymoon suite – each is beautifully styled with a clean, fresh look and comes with full-length windows to make the most of the spectacular views.
You’ll find it in the De Hoop Reserve, a hidden gem made up of 70 kilometres of largely undiscovered beaches, sand dunes and mountains. There are lots of activities to get involved in during your stay –this is one of the best land-based spots to be during whale-watching season. You can also sandboard on the massive dunes, snorkel in the fish-filled ocean or cycle round the reserve (where you might encounter a herd of eland or even the rare Bontebok antelope).
