Morukuru is our number one for families. It’s a collection of exclusive-use lodges (our favourite for kids is the Farmhouse, with its light, airy décor and two pommel horses in the garden). The Farmhouse’s outside bath is a gorgeous spot for parents who manage to sneak away for a romantic moment, too.
The Owner’s House and River House are a little smaller and more traditional, so they’re great for smaller families and couples. Whichever you choose, book early. Morukuru fills up fast, especially during the school holidays.
This lodge is a great place for large family groups, who'll be looked after confidently with style and ease. It's such a great lodge and the Amarula cheesecake is an absolute delight!
