Miavana means ‘reconcile’ in Malgasy. The owners chose the name to reflect their hope that guests will leave restored and reconnected. We can’t imagine how they’ll be anything else.
The best way to arrive is by wave-skimming helicopter. It’s remote, it’s raw, it’s the real deal for anyone looking to truly escape the rat race. It’s located on Nosy Ankao island, off the north-east of Madagascar, where you can kite surf, go deep sea fishing or spot whales and turtles on a blue safari.
In a word, it’s perfect.
