Little Makalolo sits on a private concession in Hwange National Park, overlooking an active waterhole which provides plenty of excellent photo ops – especially from the vantage point of the hide.
It’s a small camp made up of stylish, tented rooms linked by teak platforms and sandy walkways (there’s a lovely two-bedroom option for families). In the main area you’ll find a shaded lounge, a dining area and a small pool.
There are lots of activities available including game drives and cultural tours. Be sure to try a night sleeping out in the open on one of the nearby starbeds at Madison Pan.
