At Lemala Kuria Hills, you get the best of both worlds: an authentic safari experience with plenty of home comforts.
It’s located in the far north of the Serengeti, in the Kogatende area – a plum spot of viewing wildebeest migration and river crossings from about June. The tents have wooden floors, warm duvets, outdoor showers and gorgeous free-standing baths. They even have little plunge pools on each deck: perfect if you crave a little pampering after your foray into the wild.
The staff are lovely – really friendly and welcoming. We think the food is pretty special here, too.
