This five-star beach hotel is a long-established favourite in the area – and now it’s boasting a fresh, new look. The standard hotel rooms have been refreshed and filled with light furniture and splashes of accent colour. The one, two and four-bed apartments however have the wow factor; each has an outdoor balcony area, a lounge and dining space, so they work well for families and groups.
There’s so much to do here. You can learn to kite surf; get your PADI certificate; play a round of golf on a world-class course nearby. The area has always been known for deep sea fishing – now it also offers humpback whale-watching trips from June to September and dolphin-watching year-round (but we think the best months are usually November to April).
