Hemingways is a slick hotel of an international standard, located in Nairobi’s wealthy Karen district. It’s made up of a number of buildings with different suites in each one – the ones on the top floors are more expensive because they have views of the Ngong Hills. Each suite is named after someone in Kenyan conservation history (we stayed in the Daphne Sheldrick Suite).
We think it ticks every box: a stylish, five-star hotel that makes a lovely place to stay before, after or in-between your safari – the spa treatments will be particularly welcome after a few days in a bumpy vehicle.
