Your adventure begins before you even arrive, with a 30-minute drive to the camp in a game-viewing vehicle.
How to top that? By settling into a beautifully decorated tent with panoramic views of the plains. When we say tent, we’re talking wooden floors and thatched roofs, by the way. (Although thanks to the canvas walls, you still feel like you’re on safari.)
You don’t need to venture far to see wildlife. Over lunch on the terrace, we spotted zebras, warthogs and a cautious jackal – the lunch was delicious, too.
I fell in love with Gorah. The game was good, especially around the waterhole, the scenery was amazing and lunch was exceptional.
