It’s all about the experience when you stay at Desert Rhino Camp. The area is home to the largest free-roaming black rhino population in Africa. It’s also home to the Save the Rhino Trust. Hearing their stories, talking around the camp fire until the early hours and heading out rhino trekking with them are the undoubted highlights of staying here.
The accommodation is traditional rather than opulent. The Meru-style tents are what we’d call proper tents but they’re absolutely charming: simply furnished, natural and perfectly in-keeping with the overall experience.
