Damaraland is one of the best camps we’ve seen in Namibia. It’s an eco-friendly camp, situated in the Torra Conservancy (which supports rare, desert-adapted elephants) and is owned and run by the local community.
There are inspiring views whichever way you turn, from desert plains and valleys to the peaks of the Brandberg Mountains in the distance. The main areas are contemporary and stylish. The ten thatched adobe-style units are spacious and well equipped. And the crystal-clear night skies are perfect for star gazing.
