Arijiju is so in tune with the Kenyan landscape, you can barely even see it. It lies low on the land, sculpted into the rock bed. And thanks to its eco design and living grass roof, it completely blends into its surroundings. On the inside, it’s a different story: the house is super stylish (it reminds us of a Tuscan villa) with high ceilings, chandeliers and tall Lamu wooden doors.
You’ll find it in the Borana Conservancy in the Kenyan Highlands. There are three bedrooms in the main house and two guest houses. Meru stone walls create vaulted walkways leading to a gym, spa and hammam. And beneath the shade of a gnarled olive tree, awaits a truly spectacular pool.
