It's not often we're lost for words, but it's not often a camp like Angama Mara comes up.
We don't have superlatives enough to do it justice. The chefs take their inspiration from Ottolenghi. As a result their food is as light as a feather, a world away from bush tucker. The tents are just right: not too fussy, not back to basics. The safaris on the Mara Triangle are world-class. And when we say the views are panoramic we really mean it.
The service is first rate, too: the staff seemed (almost) as excited as us to be there.
Everything you read about Angama Mara is totally true and it is not just a result of good PR!
