It’s not the views that make andBeyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge so special: it’s the lack of them. It’s a romantic, stilted tree house that’s so hidden by the mahogany forest it almost disappears into it.
There’s a lot to love about this lodge. It’s secluded, intimate and Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its pink flamingos, tree-climbing lions and elephants (not forgetting its many baboons). You do need to do quite a long drive through the park to get there. That said, the elevated massage deck and cicada soundtrack makes it well worth the effort.
